Winterize

Interior. Needs some remodeling in the V berth to make more space, re plumbed
all electrical rewired, wood refinished, galley rebuilt and lots of other little things.

Cold bilge work. Rebuilding some floor supports after finally getting the bilge
emptied. The engine needs to be replaced.

Topside. You can see I started refinishing the teak on the
Starboard side but lots more to go. Every piece of hardware
on the deck need to be removed and rebeded to stop leaks.
The bowsprit need a complete rebuild and replacement of
interior backing plates.

On the stands. The stands took a lot of refinishing to get them up to par as well
as welding up the V for the one on the bow. The bottom paint will get a new coat
and the deck new antiskid. Then an entire cleaning.

Went back to ME this weekend to do the final bits of work to prepare the boat for winter. It is getting to cold to do any work with any sort of comfort so it will have to wait for spring. The more we do the longer the list of jobs to get done becomes. We often go back and forth between excitement of having the boat to being overwhelmed with of the amount of work that needs to be done. It is hard to chose what we really need to do since the list of projects is potentially endless but our money isn't. Every person you talk to likes to give some advise on what has to be done but if you followed every ones advice we would never sail.
